Overview
A leading manufacturer is seeking a Project Engineer to support large-scale manufacturing operations. This role will lead capital projects involving new equipment, processes, and production systems, with a focus on improving quality, efficiency, and cost. Candidates from any manufacturing background are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead capital projects from planning and budgeting through installation, commissioning, and startup
- Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and equipment requirements
- Evaluate vendors and coordinate contractors, production, maintenance, and other departments
- Identify and implement improvements in safety, quality, throughput, and cost
- Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Experience in project engineering, project management, or manufacturing engineering
- Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on manufacturing and capital project experience
- Basic knowledge of 3D CAD/modeling software
- Understanding of manufacturing equipment, xzgxqkn processes, and engineering principles
- Experience with Lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, or process improvement is a plus
Salary & Schedule
- $85,000–$130,000, depending on experience and qualifications; potential sign-on bonuses for senior-level hires
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, primarily first shift. Occasional second-shift or weekend support may be required
