We are currently looking for a candidate with an interest in providing Quality, Cost-effective, Food processing solutions to match the needs of our customers.Job Description:The role of the Project Manager/Engineer is to plan, execute and finalize projects according to Customer specifications, deadlines and within budget. This may include acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.Responsibilities:Ensure system design complies with customer specifications, general process descriptions, and company standardsSize and/or specify system components for procurementDevelop full-scale project plans (including resources) along with project milestones and deliverablesDraft and submit purchasing requisitions for items needed on the projectDelegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnelReview all drawings to assure accuracy prior to passing onto the customerIdentify and manage project dependencies and critical pathProactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plansResponsible for System installation and commissioning and any necessary documentation to complete this taskConduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elementsPosition Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Food Science Engineering5 years experience in an Engineering capacity preferably related to the food industryTechnically competent with various software programs, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project ScheduleExperience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essentialPersuasive, encouraging, and motivatingAbility to effectively prioritize & execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is criticalAbility to travel 40% of the time, including some international travel
