Project EngineerFelix Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer that will assist Project Managers in the execution of water and wastewater treatment projects throughout the Phoenix metro area ($250k – $20M). This person must be self-motivated and possess strong communication/interpersonal skills.What You'll Be DoingClosely work with Project Managers, Superintendents, field personnel and others involved in projectsLearn and set up project files in accordance with company systemsOrganize vendor files, communicate clearly with vendors, draft and set up purchase orders, subcontracts, and material orders under the direction of the Project ManagerTake responsibility for gathering, taking, and organizing project photographic documentationMaintain the project CPM Schedule, work with the Project Manager and SuperintendentLearn payment application process and drafts progress billings for Project Manager reviewAttend project meetings and assume responsibility for some agenda itemsTrack, review and follow up on submittals and RFIs to keep the project on trackAssist Project Manager in creating work packages for field personnel, including coordinating with Superintendent, and creating AutoCAD drawings with details of the work to be performedCompile Operations and Maintenance (O&M) information from vendorsRepresent the company in a professional mannerWork from the Felix Construction Phoenix Headquarters and job sites around the ValleyWho You AreConstruction management, civil engineering or mechanical engineering degree required2+ years of water/wastewater construction industry experience highly desiredAdvanced Excel and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam skills highly desiredBasic AutoCAD experience preferredAble to read plans and specifications for all the disciplines on a typical water/wastewater projectExposure to Alternative Procurement Delivery Method (APDM) experience highly desired (CSP, CMAR, D-B, JOC, etc.)Take initiative and handle ambiguity wellWork collaboratively with others to meet shared objectivesHave the legal right to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorshipWhy Join Felix ConstructionFelix Construction is more than a company—we are an employer and contractor of choice with the leadership and infrastructure to sustainably execute on our growth and deliver on our brand promise.
