Our team thrives in a dynamic environment, combining a family-oriented culture with a passion for technology and automation.Position SummaryWe are seeking a Project Engineer to serve as a key technical resource supporting the planning, execution, and successful completion of packaging equipment projects.
This role involves working cross-functionally with engineering, purchasing, and customer-facing teams to ensure equipment meets design specifications, budget, and schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, project management, and technical problem-solving.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate high-complexity projects, ensuring design intent and system functionality.Assist with engineering drawings, part numbers, and purchasing-related tasks.Maintain and apply URS (User Requirement Specification) documentation to systems and processes.Work with vendors, proposal coordinators, and purchasing to obtain quotations.Oversee packaging equipment fabrication, assembly, and testing.Ensure all engineering and manufacturing standards are met.Provide customer support and technical consultation on plant layout and system functionality.Travel up to 10% for project and client site support.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).Minimum of 3 years of experience in project engineering, applications engineering, or related fields.Experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PDM, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce.Strong understanding of packaging automation, mechanical systems, and OEM equipment.Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs.Preferred Qualifications5+ years of engineering experience in project or applications engineering.Experience in packaging machinery or automation industry.Strong familiarity with project management processes (scope, schedule, budget).Client-facing experience and ability to engage with customers on technical solutions.
