LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in the full lifecycle of engineering projects. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge industrial systems and contribute to high-impact projects from concept to commissioning.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Translate verbal and written specifications into actionable engineering designs.
- Specify materials, dimensions, and procedures for custom equipment builds.
- Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage projects up to $5M including budgeting, scheduling, and commissioning.
- Prepare technical documentation and support sales with concept development.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide timely technical support.
Qualifications and Skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with fabrication environments and manufacturing processes.
- Strong understanding of utility flows, mechanical systems, and equipment specifications.
- Experience with MS Project or similar tools for schedule management.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel for on-site installations and client interactions.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Contract and Compensation
Contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs!
Compensation Range: $45/hr-$60/hr
