In this role, you'll play a key role in leading new and existing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage new development projects (internal and external) while supporting senior engineers.
- Become the bridge between client USA, customers, and client Germany, handling project management, design issues, and communication.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring all parties are aware of deadlines and expectations.
- Partner with the Quality Department to guarantee adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Analyze project requirements, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
- Create and present technical documentation for each customer, including technical descriptions, mounting instructions, and RAMS.
- Foster a collaborative partnership with customers through clear and consistent communication.
- Utilize your engineering expertise to interpret drawings and relay design information.
- Participate in team meetings, providing expert insights and contributing to a cohesive work environment.
- Travel up to 25% per year may be required.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (experience may substitute for formal education).
- 3+ years of experience in project management.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling applications (CATIA V5 preferred).
- Ability to learn and utilize ERP/MRP/PLM software relevant to Production and Manufacturing (SAP a plus).
- Understanding of European and US industry standards.
- Prior experience within the Transportation Industry beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle a fast-paced environment.
