Job TitleThis job is with Encode, Inc a fully owned subsidiary of LancesoftJob DescriptionProvide engineering leadership to a multi-disciplinary team, including internal stakeholders, external partners, and customersDevelop Statements of Work (SOW) to meet research, development, and business requirements, securing necessary approvalRespond to SOW changes by assessing impacts and negotiating modifications to deliverables, resources, costs, and schedulesLead project execution to successfully deliver on defined objectives and requirementsEstablish and track performance metrics to evaluate project successPlan, identify, and coordinate resources required throughout the project or program lifecycleDefine and implement risk mitigation strategies and identify opportunities for improvementCompare actual performance against baseline plans to assess efficiency, productivity, and lessons learnedProvide technical, business, and integration leadership with minimal supervisionBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer scienceExperience leading or managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects teamsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Project Management Professional CertificationExperience with proposal development and contract negotiationsExperience with Export Compliance or International programsExperience developing and tracking program plans/schedules and budgets for technical projectsProject management experience in an engineering environmentExperience in engineering project planning or project managementExperience supporting weapons systemsExperience working directly with government customersExperience collaborating across functions and organizationsEducation:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
