The candidate will be expected to have some knowledge in process and mechanical systems, be familiar with P&IDs and a broad knowledge of CSA and E&I. This role will involve working in collaboration with our Client’s Alliance Trade Contractor Team and supporting Jacobs Project Manager or Program Manager for medium and small-scale projects in the Pharmaceutical Sector. The successful candidate will report to the Jacobs Indianapolis management team. Ideal candidate should have at least five years’ experience with an engineering background and a knowledge of building services in the pharmaceutical industry.

A technical knowledge in the following will be required to be successful in the role:

n

• broad knowledge in Pharmaceutical equipment and installations

n

• familiarity with project lifecycles from early concept through detail design and implementation

n

• broad knowledge of capital project oversight from progress measurement, to change management, and reporting.

n

• commercial awareness on project performance

n

• ability to coordinate multi discipline project execution

n

• appreciation of a strong health and safety culture in everything we do

n

• ability to develop and adhere to project schedules

n

• knowledge of quality management systems and adherence to their implementation

n

• ability to self motivate, promote team collaboration, and engage with clients, design partners, and project teams.

n

• contractual awareness for the administration of Pharma projects

n

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction or other; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree

n

• 4+ years of engineering experience in either pharma site based or pharma design back ground preferred

n

• Proficient knowledge of project management processes and procedures

n

• Proficient execution planning skills

n

• Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and practices

n

• Strong in organizing and managing complex project activities

n

• Working knowledge of project control systems

n

• Knowledge of proposals and bid processes

n

• Understands engineering estimate basis

n

• Understands contractual requirements for the project

n

Ideally, here’s what you’ll also have:

n

• Demonstrable knowledge of writing project quality and delivery plans

n

• Good understanding of the technical work undertaken in Biotech/Pharma sector

n

• Demonstrable knowledge of undertaking earned value analysis on projects

n
