Project Engineer IVThe Project Engineer IV will be the technical leader of a cross-discipline engineering team and responsible for projects aimed at delivering mission-critical hardware to support our customers. The Project Engineer IV will be focused on product development of customized solutions from our extensive portfolio of high-power radio frequency (RF) solid state power amplifiers, transmit/receive high-power RF switches and our analog & digital products.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical leadership, review engineering designs, and ensure compliance with program specificationsCollaborate with program management and multidisciplinary engineering teams to aid in the creation and maintenance of the Integrated Master ScheduleSupport Program Managers in the development, analysis, and maintenance of Estimates at Completion (EACs) and Estimates to Complete (ETCs) related to engineering scope, staffing, schedules, and technical executionParticipate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), EAC reviews, and executive-level program reviews to provide technical and programmatic insight to senior leadership and customersSupport proposal activities for new business opportunities, including technical scope development, basis of estimate creation, resource planning, and schedule developmentSupport Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and other contract modification efforts through technical assessment, cost/schedule impact analysis, and cross-functional coordinationIdentify potential technical risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid schedule delays and cost overrunsOversee the system integration of all subsystems including RF, DC, Digital, and Mechanical componentsEnsure all subsystems function together and meet performance criteriaCommunicate with program management on the status of technical progress through each critical milestone from program kickoff to program closeoutAct as the technical point of contact for all stakeholders to ensure concerns are addressed in a timely manner and customer expectations are met and/or exceededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field.Minimum eight (8) years of experience in a specialized functional discipline.
