Monitor projects for constructability by reviewing mechanical system designs, including HVAC.
Prepare and negotiate cost estimates, project budgets, and work schedules.
Report regularly on work progress, budget status, and project milestones.
Oversee on-site construction activities and supervise construction personnel.
Determine project specifications to ensure full alignment with MEP requirements and compliance with building codes and regulations.
Review HVAC designs and construction contract documents to verify compliance with current code requirements.
Travel to inspection worksites within the Houston metropolitan area as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer, Staff Engineer, or Engineer.
Travel required for inspection at work-sites within the Houston Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) when necessary.
