When you join Ames, you're joining a company built for long-term success — where skilled people, strong teams, and disciplined execution come together to build careers and a better future.Essential FunctionsSupport a team consisting of project manager, project engineers, superintendents, and other staffBuild relationships and communicate with owners, design partners, subcontractors, and workforceReview shop drawing, submittals and schedules, and process RFIsMonitoring the quality control, safety and environmental programsUnderstand and assist with project layoutIdentify critical work items, and procure long-lead itemsAssist with monthly billings, cash flow projections, and process change ordersManage document control including submittals schedules, contract documents, and shop drawingsAssist with delivery, inventory, and warehousing of materials and equipmentResolve field problems and conflicts with subcontractors, suppliers, and workforceInstill safety as a top priorityMaintaining as-built drawings & manualsAttend and/or lead meetingsOther duties may be assigned.QualificationsStrong communication skills both written and oralMust have a positive attitude and possess excellent motivation skillsTime management, multitasking, and prioritization are crucialPossess high attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepanciesA minimum of 2 years' experience in constructionBachelor's degree in construction, civil engineering, or construction management, or equivalent experienceCompetent in the use of computer software applications used for project control and administration, including Microsoft applications and outlookKnowledgeable in PrimaveraMust have a valid driver's licenseWorking ConditionsLocation – This project is located in Farmington, NM. Subsequent projects will be nationally based.Travel – This role will be expected to travel to project locations and regional officesConstruction site environment – physical ability to stand, walk, crawl, bend, reach and climb.
