Job TitleESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:Review project plans, design drawings, proposals, customer requirements performance standards, and project specifications to prepare cost estimates and schedules, then work with management to develop projectAttend job walks and design review meetings.Review contractor Through project coordination meetings and other forms of communication, oversee and coordinate the technical aspects of the project.Prepare, submit and track RFIs andGenerate and track changeInteract with subcontractors andTrack and document all city and special inspections and permits as required by the project at hand.Prepare status reports and regularly monitor contractors and schedules.Keep an accurate record and database of all elements of theTrack, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the assigned projects as required.Monitor compliance with applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards andInteract daily with clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in theTrack and log projectPrepare meetingCooperate and communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, safety managers and other project participants.Is thoroughly familiar with clients(s), company and OSHA safety regulations andAssist in developing and mentoring project supportOther duties assigned by managementQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or GED required. A 4-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, architecture or business is strongly preferredIn lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable2-5 years of experience in advanced technology and/or commercial projects, including experience with a general contractor is strongly preferredPrevious experience on advanced technology job sites is strongly preferredAbility to interpret drawings andExcellent communication, both verbal and written and interpersonalMust be extremely organized and able to manage multiple projects at the sameA solid working knowledge of the following computer software is also required:Microsoft Outlook softwareBluebeamAutodesk Products (Preferred but not required)OST (Preferred but not required)MS Project (Preferred but not required)Advanced knowledge of preconstruction phase, bidding, estimating, accounting, risk management, safety, budget control, schedule control, submittals, change orders, and quality.Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards,, plus an in-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional construction and design teams.Ability to multitask, and work without direct supervisionAbility to work in a team environment and collaborate with other team members when help is needed.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
