Product EngineerWe are seeking a Product Engineer to support engineering projects within a miniature circuit breaker portfolio. This role focuses on driving product changes, supporting supplier and manufacturing transitions, and executing validation testing to ensure product performance and compliance. This is a fully onsite contract opportunity with strong extension potential and long-term growth prospects.Responsibilities:Lead product change initiatives including material selection, supplier transitions, and production line transfersSupport engineering changes across components such as sheet metal, molded plastics, stamped parts, and packagingDevelop and execute mechanical and electrical validation test plansEnsure product designs meet applicable standards, codes, and engineering requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, suppliers, and qualityAnalyze test results and support design verification and validation processesContribute to continuous improvement in product performance, quality, and manufacturabilityRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)Experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or similar roleStrong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and product validationExperience supporting product changes, supplier transitions, or production transfersAbility to develop and execute test plans for validation and verificationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience working with electrical components or circuit protection productsBackground in sheet metal, plastics, or stamped component manufacturingFamiliarity with industry standards and compliance requirementsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
