Project Engineer (Capital Projects)

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of relevant engineering or industrial project experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Chemical Engineering backgrounds can also align
• Experience coordinating installation and hookup of heavy industrial/process equipment
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, EHS/Safety, general contractors, subcontractors, and third-party engineering teams
• Understanding of equipment utility and infrastructure requirements, including electrical and cooling needs
• Ability to ensure equipment installations meet OEM specifications and standards
• Knowledge of safety requirements associated with industrial equipment installation
• Understanding of OSHA requirements in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Metal powder or powder-processing manufacturing experience
• Experience installing equipment used for metal/powder production
• Machining or other heavy industrial equipment experience
• AutoCAD
• Bluebeam
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and industrial safety standards, including items such as handrails and equipment safety requirements

Job Description

• Work on the factory engineering team supporting the installation of new manufacturing/process equipment
• Coordinate closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, and EHS teams throughout equipment installations
• Manage installation and hookup of heavy industrial process equipment across the site
• Coordinate required utilities and infrastructure for new equipment, including electrical and cooling needs
• Partner with general contractors, subcontractors, OEMs, and third-party engineering teams during installation
• Ensure equipment is installed according to OEM requirements, engineering standards, and applicable safety requirements
• Support phased expansion of the manufacturing facility, beginning with initial equipment arriving at the end of 2026
• Support continued equipment installations and capacity expansion through 2028
