Senior Project Engineer

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support advanced aerospace and defense programs. This role will provide technical and project leadership throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring successful execution of engineering efforts while maintaining ownership of cost, schedule, risk, and overall program performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from development through production and sustainment.
• Manage project scope, cost, schedule, resources, and technical execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, test, supply chain, and program management.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and execution strategies.
• Monitor performance against program objectives and drive corrective actions as needed.
• Support proposal development, estimating, risk management, and program planning.
• Interface with stakeholders and customers to ensure successful project delivery.
• Drive process improvements and resolve technical and programmatic challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering projects, programs, or multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated responsibility for project cost and schedule management.
• Background in product development, design, manufacturing, integration, or production engineering.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, weapons, missile, avionics, or military programs.
• Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Manufacturing, or related engineering background.
• Experience managing large, complex engineering efforts.
• CAM, EVM, or similar program controls experience.
• Experience working with Department of Defense customers.
• Active Secret Clearance preferred but not required.
