At Total Civil Construction & Engineering, we're hiring a Project Engineer ready to integrate planning, people, and performance into outstanding project delivery.What You'll Do:As a Project Engineer, you'll be the nerve center of project operations, connecting on-site execution with budget, schedule, and design expectations.

You'll track costs, manage progress, and ensure communication between office and field stays strong and proactive.Here's what your day-to-day will look like:Support project managers and superintendents across all phases of constructionCoordinate purchase orders and material procurement with vendorsMonitor production rates and project timelines through 3-week lookaheadsPerform real-time cost control and identify budget deviations earlyAnalyze daily schedules and progress reports to maintain project alignmentProcess material orders using Heavy Job and Foundation softwareReview field data for accuracy and support estimating and planning teamsTrack subcontractor payments and application progressLead internal 3WLA meetings and ensure stakeholder alignmentMaintain and organize site documentation (plans, specs, permits, logs)Prepare detailed cost-to-complete reports for financial forecastingPropose process improvements to enhance department and project efficiencyEnforce company safety protocols and maintain project complianceWhat You Bring:We're seeking someone analytical, proactive, and fluent in both engineering and execution.Education & Certifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Required)Software & Systems:Proficiency in Heavy Job, Foundation, Primavera P6, and ProcoreAdvanced skills in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and TeamsExperience & Language Skills:Minimum 1 year of field experience in civil constructionKnowledge of underground utility, highway, and site development practicesBilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)Core Skills:Budget tracking, cost control, and schedule analysisStrong technical writing and document controlCommunication and coordination with multi-disciplinary teamsProblem-solving under pressure and meeting strict deadlinesPerks & Culture:Competitive salary with career progression to Project ManagerHealth, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance, 401K.Car allowance and fuel cardPTO and Sick DaysSupportive leadership and hands-on mentorshipExposure to major infrastructure and utility projectsCollaborative, inclusive, and innovation-focused teamAll software, laptop, licenses, and tools providedDrug-Free Workplace | EEO Employer: Veterans, Minorities, Women encouraged to applyYour Path Forward:This isn't just a job, it's a launch pad.Start as a Project Engineer ?
