Rolling Plains Construction, a leading commercial specialty trade construction company specializing in fireproofing and spray insulation services, is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing our spray fireproofing and spray insulation projects, ensuring their successful execution and delivery. Immediate potential assignment: Texas, Idaho, North Carolina, Ohio, Arizona, Indiana with additional locations coming soon.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
* Proven experience (2+ years) in project management, preferably in construction or a related industry.
* Strong knowledge of spray fireproofing and insulation techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
* Proficient in industry utilized software and tools (e.g., MS Office, Outlook, Bluebeam).
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing project requirements.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Director of Operations to plan, coordinate, and execute spray fireproofing and spray insulation projects.
* Review project plans, specifications, and budgets.
* Respond to project requirements, evaluate potential risks, and assist in complying with safety standards and regulations.
* Assist in the development and implementation of project schedules, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.
* Coordinate with suppliers, internal teams, and other trade contractors to procure necessary materials, equipment, and manpower.
* Monitor project progress, identify issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as required.
* Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and RFIs.
* Act as a liaison between the office, clients, and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or queries promptly.
* Provide technical support and guidance to field personnel, resolving technical issues that may arise during the project.
