Project EngineerJob Number BR Description: We are Lockheed Martin. You will be a Project Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs (ADP) which is responsible for coordinating across engineering teams, ensuring program requirements are met, and delivering project development and process improvements.What You Will Be Doing As the Project Engineer you will be responsible for communicating project's progress across various teams and acting as the focal interface between program managers, team leads, engineering subject matter experts, suppliers, and program partners on respective contracts within the portfolio of programs. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher with experience in Engineering, or a related STEM field or equivalent experience.Experience working proposals, contracts and/or process development and ImprovementExperience in Project Planning and/or Project ManagementExperience communicating with multi-disciplined engineering teamsExperience working with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)SECRET security clearanceThis position is in Marietta, GA Discover Marietta.Desired Skills:Earned Value Management ExperienceExperience with Project Management, Project Engineering, and/or Systems EngineeringExperience with Software and/or ITKnowledge of / Experience with engineering design and /or tools such as Catia v5 (or other equivalent CAD systems with ability to learn)Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and experience in tools such as Teamcenter/JIRA/Confluence or other tracking toolsExperience with project performance and metric tools such as Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and TableauAbility to or Experience conducting gap analysis and managing multiple projects/milestonesControl Account Management (CAM) certification, training, and/or knowledgeKnowledge of / Experience with lean manufacturing processes and practicesStrong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skillsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
