We specialize in professional IT consulting services, IT Staffing, Business/IT Strategy, Business Process Blueprints, Enterprise Architecture, and Enterprise Transformation.Job RoleProject Document SpecialistJob LocationWashington, DC (Remote)Job TypeLong Term ContractJob SummaryThe ideal candidate will have strong experience managing technology projects from initiation through implementation using formal project management methodologies, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple IT programs and projects across the enterprise.Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.Maintain project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and quality processes.Develop and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.Produce and manage weekly program/project status reporting.Create and maintain project documentation including policies, procedures, and Statements of Work (SOWs).Create and maintain project sites in SharePoint within the EPPM system.Conduct quality assurance (QA) on status reports, documentation, and deliverables.Track project baselines, estimates-to-complete, and variance reporting.Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.Support operational readiness reviews and implementation activities.Participate in vendor proposal evaluation, RFP documentation, and ongoing support planning.Required Project Documentation ExperienceCandidates should have hands-on experience creating and managing:Project CharterProject Management PlanRequirements DocumentsDesign DocumentsArchitecture InputsTest Plans & Test ResultsImplementation PlansPost-Implementation Reviews / Lessons LearnedProject Schedules & BudgetsResource Management PlansRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience/training.7+ years of hands-on Program/Project Management experience from initiation through implementation using formal methodologies.7+ years of technology management, analysis, or administration experience.Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities.Experience using:MS Project Office ProfessionalMS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioProject management platforms such as Microsoft Project Server (EPM), Primavera, or similarPreferred Qualifications4+ years of experience with Microsoft Project Server (EPM) or similar enterprise PM tools.PMP Certification preferredDeliverablesDocumentation of policies and proceduresQA reports for documents uploaded to the EPPM system (status reports, SOWs, etc.)Lumen Solutions Group Inc is an equal opportunity employer.
