Project DirectorLocation: Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74103Full TimePositions Available: 2Travel Requirement: Up to 25%As a Project Director, you will lead the execution of complex infrastructure projects across natural gas, liquids, and power systems. You'll be responsible for multidisciplinary teams managing the design and delivery of key energy facilities such as processing plants, pipelines, compressor stations, meter stations, and power generation units.

The role demands technical leadership, strategic planning, and operational excellence.You'll work in an environment that values integrity, safety, and continuous learning—backed by a culture of teamwork and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead cross-functional project teams including engineers, project managers, and technical specialistsDrive the development and management of multi-year budgets with a focus on cost control and financial transparencyOversee creation, review, and approval of detailed project documentation and technical specificationsEvaluate technical options, analyze risk, and recommend strategic solutions to optimize outcomesReport project status, risks, and performance metrics to senior leadership in a clear, actionable mannerImplement scalable work processes, tools, and governance frameworks to improve execution and efficiencyBuild and maintain strategic relationships with contractors, partners, and customersEnsure projects align with DOT design standards, regulatory compliance, and internal engineering standardsOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience in engineering, project management, project controls, or commercial operations within the oil and gas industryStrong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering or related fieldPE License and/or PMP CertificationProficiency in project scheduling tools: Microsoft Project, Primavera, and Oracle ApplicationsExperience with Power BI for analytics and reportingStrong understanding of DOT design standards and engineering best practicesPrevious leadership roles managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projectsExperience working with combined cycle power generation systems
