Project Director - Sustainability & Resilience, Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. in NY, NY to coord. dvlpmt of comp. simulations, known as "environmental analysis models", of new & existing bldgs, campuses, transit stations, among other infrastructure proj's to determine energy consumption, comfort, daylighting, & other environmental metrics & its breakdown by end-uses as well as factors that improve this performance. Req'mts: Master's or frgn equiv in Civil Eng'g, Arch., or rel. fld, & 4 yrs of prgrssvly rspnsbl exp in job offered or in rel. occupation. Using & interpreting environmental SW & results, incl creating workflows & simulation processes, running simulation SW, directing other team members, & drafting reports & client presentations. Creating bld'g environmental models, incl mng'g processes, & ensuring quality control & assurance of model results incl Grasshopper Pollination / Ladybug Tools, Open Studio, THERM, Radiance, Climate Studio. Understanding & maintaining quality control of proj's by util'g coding algorithms for bld'g performance analytics, incl grasshopper coding. Offered salary is btwn $142,750 & $149,000/ yr. 40 hrs/wk. Telecommuting permissible pursuant to co. policy. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
