Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the execution of a landmark infrastructure project with a budget exceeding $400M under a Public-Private Partnership (P3) model. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle — from planning and design through construction and delivery — ensuring alignment with contractual, financial, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall Leadership: Direct, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of the project, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • P3 Expertise: Serve as the key point of contact for all P3-related obligations, ensuring compliance with concession agreements, lenders’ requirements, and government regulations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with public authorities, consortium partners, contractors, subcontractors, lenders, and community stakeholders.
  • Financial & Risk Oversight: Manage project budgets exceeding $400M, including financial reporting, forecasting, risk management, and contract administration.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Contract & Claims Management: Oversee negotiation, compliance, and resolution of contractual matters, claims, and disputes.
  • Health, Safety & Sustainability: Ensure adherence to all HSE standards and promote sustainability best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Mandatory: Proven track record in P3 (Public-Private Partnership) construction projects with a budget of $400M+ .
  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience in large-scale infrastructure or civil construction projects.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field ; MBA or PMP certification is an asset.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in managing large budgets, contracts, and risk in complex environments.
  • Demonstrated success in stakeholder engagement and working with government agencies, lenders, and consortium partners.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage complexity.
  • Results-driven, with a focus on operational excellence and risk mitigation.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to inspire high-performing teams.
