We areconducting a confidential search on behalf of a well-capitalized,multi-market operator seeking a Project Director to lead large-lossrestoration and reconstruction projects. This organization isscaling aggressively and requires strong operational leadership todrive performance on complex, high-value projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Director to lead large-scale restorationand reconstruction projects, typically ranging from high six-figureto multi-million-dollar losses. This individual will own the fulllifecycle of complex projects while driving operational excellence,financial performance, and client satisfaction. This role operateswithin a high-accountability environment built on disciplinedexecution, speed, and scalable processes.

What You'll Do

1. 1. Own the Outcome
   • Take full responsibility for large-lossprojects from initial response through closeout
   • Drive project strategy acrossmitigation and reconstruction
   • Deliver projects on time, on budget,and at target margin
2. 2. Always Be Driving Revenue
   • While not a pure sales role, you areembedded in the revenue process
   • Build and maintain relationships withcarriers, consultants, and clients
   • Identify opportunities for additionalscope, change orders, and future work
3. 3. Execute with Speed and Urgency
   • Start jobs quickly and push projects tocompletion without delays
   • Remove bottlenecks and keep allstakeholders aligned on timelines
   • Lead teams in fast-paced, high-pressureenvironments, especially during CAT events
4. 4. Build World-Class Documentation & Process Discipline
   • Ensure all project documentation isthorough, accurate, and defensible
   • Drive consistency in estimating,reporting, and file management
   • Enforce operational standards acrossall phases of the project
5. 5. Deliver an Exceptional Client Experience
   • Own the client relationship from startto finish
   • Ensure high satisfaction, clearcommunication, and strong outcomes
   • Drive repeat business and referralopportunities on every project
6. 6. Lead and Scale Teams
   • Direct Project Managers,Superintendents, and field teams
   • Hold teams accountable to performance,timelines, and standards
   • Help build scalable processes that canbe replicated across markets

What You Bring

• 7–10+ years in restoration/constructionwith large-loss project experience
• Proven track record managing $500K–$5M+ projects
• Advanced estimating experience(Xactimate or equivalent)
• High level of financial acumen(budgeting, margin control, forecasting)
• Leadership experience managing multipleteams and complex workflows
• Strong communication skills withclients, carriers, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to operate with urgency,accountability, and structure
