The projects will be in various phases from conceptual planning stages through design, construction, and occupancy; and range in sector and complexity. Total project costs can range from several Million to $300+Million. As a Project Director, you will exhibit all the qualities of an experienced Project Manager with the added ability to lead client accounts.Your Key ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of multiple projects valued at $25m-$300m, to include both renovations and new buildsDirectly managing activities of up to 25-50 project team membersFoster a diverse collaborative cultureManage conflicting priorities and business interestsMotivate and inspire others along with inspiring confidence and trust in clients and potential clientsInvolve employees, deliver results, emphasize teamwork, stimulate change, and recognize performanceInteract with client as project leader and define pace, progression, and culture of project teamCommunicate clients' goals, constraints, and priorities to the project teamAnticipate and foresee conditions and concerns. Make decisions on major project events, taking into consideration the impact the final direction has on project goals and all disciplines within a projectEnsure that scheduled activities are meeting the client's goals and objectivesCommunicate the vision and scope of the project and keep it on trackDevelop and maintain the respect and confidence of the project team, motivating people to perform at their bestUtilize the professional project team members and other resources efficientlyCreate a project budget including all cost parameters for the project.
Position requires working knowledge of costs for capital project componentsCreate schedules with all relevant events and understand their relationshipsTrain PM's in creating schedules, budgets, and overall team managementPresent budgets, schedules, and events to clients, allowing for continuous project progression with client understanding and concurrence.
