Our Miami Headquarters is seeking a Project Designer with a minimum of 5 years of architectural work experience to join our team.Position Overview: As a Project Designer at Arquitectonica, you will work on a variety of projects and be involved in the early stages of design. You will be a contributing member of a collaborative, multi-disciplined team to develop and present projects.Key Responsibilities:Prepare, finalize, and present project designs using both 2D and 3D software, including AutoCad and RevitAbility to work on all elements of design including floorplans, sections, elevations, massing area tablesReview and revisit designs as project parameters solidify, making adjustments as neededWork with the team leaders, team members, and clients to ensure accuracy of early design workCollaborate and coordinate with project consultantsResearch and incorporate artistic elements into designs as neededEnsure design specifications comply with all building and zoning codes, and other project specific requirementsLiaise with various professionals, consultants, and government departments to coordinate project detailsProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)Proficiency in AutoCad and Revit is requiredQualifications and Attributes:Undergraduate degree in architecture or related design field, master's degree in architecture preferredActively pursuing, or has completed NCARB ARE testing and licensure5 years of work experience, 3+ years of experience in Multi-Family Residential and Commercial projects preferredKnowledge and understanding of building codes, including Florida requirementsDetail-oriented with the ability to flag and correct potential design issuesAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage daily tasks independently, manage junior staff workload, and junior staff work productAbility to work and problem-solve with other disciplines and clients in a manner that builds positive relationshipsStrong communication skills with the ability to present design ideas and direction, both verbally and graphicallyAbility to work on multiple projects quickly and simultaneously while maintaining attentive client interactionsDesire to work exclusively on front end of design processVisualization background and skills highly preferredMust be authorized to work in the United StatesAbility to obtain and maintain a valid passport for international travel, as necessaryEmployee Benefits Offered:Medical, dental, vision, and Aflac supplemental insuranceFlexible Spending and Dependent Care accounts401k programPre-tax transit programsPaid time off on accrual basis + holidaysArchitectural licensure supportAIA Membership dues supportCompensation: Compensation will be based on the candidate's experience and abilities.
