Job TitleUnder general supervision, responsible for working within a multidisciplinary team providing clinical care to community child, adolescent, and adult outpatients with serious mental illness, substance use disorder, and other co-morbid conditions.ResponsibilitiesHandles and answers external and internal phone calls including transferring calls to the appropriate departments.Manage clinic appointments according to the providers' schedules and protocols.Triages calls, medications/refills and facilitates patient needs, and documents all communication into the EMR system.Performs Data Entry.Maintains regular contact with each assigned patient to monitor responses to services and identify problem areas.Responsibility may include crisis interventions as needed.Ensure projects run smoothly by overseeing workflow, scheduling assignments, evaluating the course of the project and reporting its status to the management and stakeholders.Creates project plans and timelines to ensure adherence to established guidelines and ensures projects are administered according to protocol.Coordinates and organizes project activities to include training and data management.Tracks progress, identifies and resolves obstacles.Provides status updates on the progress of the project/assigned tasks.Ensures effective preparation and delivery of all projects, meetings and production of all necessary documentation.Serves as the project liaison between the various departments and stakeholders.Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary.Performs all other duties as assigned.QualificationsGeneral program knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process.Solid organizational skills, including coordination, multi-tasking and time management.Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Extensive knowledge of common Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project, Outlook, etc.).Strong focus on quality assurance with attention to detail and ability to apply protocols.Ability to work independently to collect, research and organize data.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.Time management and leadership skills.EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.EXPERIENCE:Three (3) years of directly related experience is required.LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION:CPR certification is preferred.Required SkillsThree (3) years of directly related experience is required.Job InfoJob Identification 6809Job Category AdministrationLocations 7703 Floyd Curl Drive, San Antonio, TX, 78229, US (On-site)Job Schedule Full timeOrganization M2300 - Psychiatry & Beh Sciences, M1000 - Dean Medical School, UT Health Science Center, UT Health Science CenterDepartment M2300 - Psychiatry & Beh Sciences
