We stay true to our values of designing spaces that respect, protect, and enhance the natural magic of their surroundings while delivering long-term value for our clients and their communities.WATG is hiring a Project Coordinator for our office in Tustin, California.The Project Coordinator works with the Project Manager to plan and direct the design documentation of a project from Schematics through Construction Document phases.

The Project Coordinator has extensive technical architectural experience on a wide variety of projects through the construction administration phase. Project Coordinators will direct the work assignments of a diverse project team as well as coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors.Responsibilities include:Coordinating activities related to construction administration, including scheduling, shop drawings, field observations, project reports, change orders and pay requestsDirecting the development and construction documentation phases of several projectsConfirming that the project follows the contractual agreement with the client and that it is on schedule and within budgetCommunicating with internal team and client representatives to maintain positive client and consultant relationshipsVerifying that project needs are met by effectively coordinating project team assignments and ensuring the efficient utilization of resourcesCoaching, mentoring and developing team members, providing ongoing performance feedback to enhance team performance and contributionsUnderstanding and implementing processes that reduce risks and exposure in all areas of the projectAssurance that construction administration activities emphasize efficiency, quality assurance and code complianceCreating, developing and implementing project design concepts and the design documentsMonitoring initial design through completion of constructionWorking with the design team in prioritizing, planning and executing multiple projects efficientlyTaking personal responsibility for fostering sustainable work practicesQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Architecture preferredProfessional license preferredEnvironmental accreditation preferred10+ years' experience designing small to mid-size architectural projects, including urban and resort hotelsThorough knowledge of architectural production standards, detailing, building materials, building codes and constructionProficiency in technical skills as an effective management tool, including AutoCAD and RevitSketching skills requiredExperienced in client management and project managementAbility to work in a team environment and supervise othersAbility to effectively meet deadlines and budgetsHighly effective written and verbal communication and presentation skillsDedicated management and leadership skills*Please include a copy of your resume and portfolio to be considered for this position.Salary range: $80,000-$105,000 per yearWATG is an Equal Opportunity Employer#LI-JH1Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
