This role works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure schedules, documentation, and communication remain organized and on track.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and demonstrates strong organizational and coordination skills.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of commercial build-out projects from pre-construction through closeoutMaintain and track project schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutesCoordinate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clientsPrepare and distribute project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and progress reportsTrack material procurement and deliveries to ensure alignment with project timelinesSupport permitting processes, inspections, and compliance with local building codes and safety standardsMonitor project progress and flag potential schedule or cost impactsMaintain organized and accurate project files in project management softwareAssist with project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, and final documentationQualifications1–3 years of experience in construction coordination or project support, preferably in commercial build-out projectsStrong understanding of construction processes, terminology, and documentationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesWork EnvironmentCombination of office and active construction site environmentsMay require occasional site visits and extended hours to meet project deadlinesWhat We OfferCompensation:This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission tied directly to construction project performance.
