This position is responsible for ensuring that the project(s) runs smoothly and if any issues occur, they are corrected immediately.
This position will report to the Project Manager.Job DutiesMaintain a daily project diary and help establish project prioritiesDaily timecard entry and approvalTrack and record project costs, production quantities, yield statistics, and onsite inventory countsCompile cycle times and production information and log this information for historical dataGather pay item quantities and collect information on extra work itemsConduct timely billing and reporting to maximize profit margins and positive cash flowManage and maintain department specific technology and computer programsDocument schedule delays and perform schedule updatesAssemble and distribute project plans and specifications updatesSustain a comprehensive understanding of the plans and specificationsCoordinate efforts with management, project technicians, and customers to maintain and meet project schedulingProvide environment where dynamic project communication occurs between Project Technicians, Management, Superintendents and customers to ensure work is accomplished in an efficient, profitable, and safe mannerEnsure proper job controls, i.e. quantities, costs, revenue and scheduleEstablish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, etc., providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships with client baseEnsure accurate reports for the job allowing for continuous improvement in performanceAssist project in helping to meet or exceed expected marginsUnderstanding and documentation of pipeline sampling/testing resultsOther duties as assignedSkills/QualificationsBachelor's degree in construction management (Preferred)Bilingual English & Spanish (Preferred)Strong computer skills required with a special emphasis on Excel skillsExperience in the construction industryCompetent in all Microsoft products and scheduling experienceStrong work ethic, ability to prioritize and excellent communication skillsWillingness to work both in field and office settings and an ability to work in a high production, fast moving environmentA valid driver license and proof of insurability is required.
