Project Coordinator

Our client, a highly regulated financial services organization, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support enterprise project and portfolio management initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with Jira. Experience supporting projects within a regulated environment is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Project Managers and PMO leadership in planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects.
• Maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
• Create and update project records, dashboards, status reports, and executive-level presentations.
• Coordinate meetings, document decisions, track follow-up actions, and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Administer and maintain project data within Planview or similar PPM platforms.
• Utilize Jira and Confluence to monitor project progress, track work items, and maintain project documentation.
• Monitor project health metrics and escalate schedule, budget, resource, or risk concerns when appropriate.
• Support demand management, project intake, portfolio reporting, and governance processes.
• Assist with project audits, regulatory reviews, compliance activities, and documentation requests.
• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, templates, and governance standards.
• Generate reporting and analytics to support portfolio and executive decision making.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Analyst, PMO Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects in a structured PMO environment.
• Hands-on experience with Planview, Clarity, ServiceNow PPM, Microsoft Project, or similar Portfolio/Project Management tools .
• Strong experience utilizing Jira and Confluence for Agile project delivery and tracking.
