We are seeking a Construction Project Control Manager to oversee the financial and contractual performance of construction projects across the DMV. Working alongside project managers and field teams, you will track costs, forecast results, manage changes, and help resolve commercial issues from preconstruction through closeout.
**Responsibilities**
* Develop and maintain project budgets, cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete projections.
* Monitor job costs and margins, identify risks, and work with project teams to address them.
* Manage change orders, including pricing, documentation, negotiations, and approvals.
* Review owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders; track key obligations and required notices.
* Support subcontractor buyout, procurement, pay applications, and project closeout.
* Assess the cost and schedule impact of scope changes and assist with claims when needed.
* Partner with project management, finance, legal, owners, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
**Qualifications**
* Project controls, commercial management, contracts, or project management experience with a general contractor.
* Strong background in construction cost reporting, forecasting, change orders, and subcontractor management.
* Ability to interpret contracts and communicate clearly with project teams and clients.
* Experience with DMV projects, public-sector work, or AIA and ConsensusDocs contracts is a plus.
