We are currently seeking a numbers/data/excel savvy candidate to join our team as a full time or part time Project Associate to support our Garden City Office based team. Jzanus Consulting is a leading provider of Health Information Management and Revenue Integrity Services. As part of the Revenue Recovery Department you will assist and work with a team of registered nurses, coding professionals and billing professionals to help ensure that our clients receive the reimbursement they are entitled to.
Job Duties to include but not limited to:
Project associate related duties including but not limited to:
- Making Phone Calls to Post Acute Healthcare Facilities to obtain information needed on patients
- Retrieving patient medical records from various Hospital systems
- Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits.
- Extracting/entering necessary information from/to Hospital patient accounting systems
- Running and Creating reports
- Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by recovery team
