Project Accounting Supervisor

Responsibilities: * Direct supervision of personnel including Project Accountants and Accounts Payable Associates * Project Accounting Supervisor will review and ensure accuracy and integrity of AIA invoice billing * Review and verify billing for fee percentage and insurance * Liaise with clients and monitor collection of billing * In charge of outstanding accounts receivables -manage follow-up inquiries to clients * Monitor cash flow and communicate to senior management * Participate in monthly financial meetings with project managers for monitor progress of project and ensure proper and accurate billing and pay application to client per contract terms * Review and interpret contracts, subcontractor documents, payment terms, insurance, and bond requirements * Review and verify accuracy of final AIA payment application from trade subcontractors * Liaise with vendors and respond to inquiries from general contractors and project managers * In charge of outstanding accounts payables * As a Project Accounting Supervisor, you will monitor weekly check runs and wire transfers * Responsible for close out of the projects upon their completion * Assist with the monthly close process and financial reporting for the companyRequirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred * 7+ years of construction/project accounting experience * Experience with Sage 300 (Timberline accounting software) and Procore (project management software) * Strong communication skills; Both verbal and written * Proficient at an intermediate level with MS Excel * Able to analyze raw data and present it in a meaningful manner to upper management * Willing to work in office 5 days in midtown ManhattanJob TypeDirect HireCompensation - $
