Serving as a Project Accounting Subject Matter Expert, the full-time position will ensure accurate revenue recognition, support month-end and quarter-end close processes, and maintain compliance with GAAP and ASC 606 while working remotely. Key responsibilities Provide technical guidance and issue resolution for project and revenue accounting across the organization Lead the month- and quarter-end close, including revenue reviews and analysis of project costs and profitability Develop financial analyses and reporting to identify trends and revenue recognition risks Required qualifications 6+ years of experience in project accounting and revenue recognition Expert knowledge of ASC 606 and strong understanding of GAAP and FAR Hands-on experience with Deltek Costpoint and recent experience with Cognos Ability to apply revenue recognition methodologies across various contract types Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex accounting issues
