Progressive Care Nurse

Travel PCU Registered Nurse (RN) - Nights Louisville, KY 40241

Pay: $2,150-$2,400.62/week

Shift: 6:45 PM-7:15 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (Every other weekend required)

Contract: 13 weeks

We are seeking an experienced Travel PCU Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong acute inpatient PCU experience and be comfortable working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Requirements

• 2+ years of acute inpatient PCU/Progressive Care RN experience
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Epic experience required
• Nursing Diploma, ASN, or higher
• Strong patient assessment, care planning, and clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care to PCU patients.
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor patient responses and document clinical interventions.
• Provide patient and family education.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Delegate tasks and support/mentor other staff.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
