Job TitleDevelop CMM programs using CAD models. Contribute to development of quality inspection plans for first piece setup acceptance, AQL, SPC, and final inspection. We provide customers leading edge support from prototype to production.Essential Job DutiesAdvanced blueprint reading, GD&T & shop math (Trigonometry)Develop CMM programs in a virtual offline software using CAD based modelsAbility to review customer drawings for errors in GD&T and provide feedbackAnalyze drawings, part specifications, tolerances, and design data to generate CMM programsResponsible for Reviewing CMM programs prior to release for productionEducation And/Or Experience Required3 - 5 years' experience programming Zeiss CMMs preferably in a machining environmentZeiss Calypso programming experience is required.Ability to correctly use and interpret basic measuring tools including weight gauge, micrometer, caliper scale (linear), gauge blocks, thread gauges, and comparative standardsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact with fellow employees and customers in a professional mannerAbility to understand and follow instructionsIndependent; can work with limited supervision and directionPreferred ExperienceCertified training to ASME Y14.5:2009 preferredNPI or R&D experience preferredCultureAt FM Industries our success is powered by people and technology.
