Job OpportunityThis request is for a programmer/analyst for the DCF Family and Economic Support Technical Services (FESTS) Section child support systems and will provide expert level programming and analysis for KIDS Mainframe and distributed applications on projects with federal, state, administrative mandate.The program is a large/complex (1000+ program, 400+ table) MVS/COBOL/DB2/CICS system with additional.net distributed applications.Successful candidates must have proven development experience in MVS/SAS/COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL languages and also some Microsoft.Net Web development experience.Candidates will have experience with structured analysis and design, as well as an understanding of full Systems Development Life Cycle.Project duties will be to work as a programmer analyst and part of a team to develop and maintain child support applications.Project duties will also include scheduling, analysis, design, coding, testing, quality assurance, ad hoc reporting (SAS), development of user documentation, training materials and help screens.First consideration will be given to those candidates that have experience with child support enforcement systems or large case management, financial or state automated systems (i.e., UI, TANF, TAX).Preference will be given to qualified candidates with business in DCF Child Support business area, prior experience with the KIDS system, and familiarity with Client's application systems, procedures, and development standards.Top 3-4 desired skills required for the position:Application Development and Support of CICS/DB2/COBOL/SAS/JCL Mainframe Systems and also Microsoft.Net Application Development utilizing DB2 or similar relational database Changeman and Control-MAbility to identify and create test data, create and modify files and JCL to support validation/QA of system changesExperience using SQL, SPUFI, Platinum, File Manager, Debugger, QMF Tools or equivalentExperience completing Unit/Development Testing, Systems Testing, and Supporting User Acceptance TestingExperience supporting a financial and case management child support system – all phases of the systems development life cycle.
