Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) Technician/EngineerThe Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) Technician/Engineer will be responsible for designing, programming, installing, testing, and maintaining Rockwell systems for industrial machinery and equipment. They will work closely with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure efficient and safe operation of the systems.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and program PLC systems using ladder logic or other programming languagesTest and troubleshoot PLC systems to identify and resolve any malfunctionsInstall and commission new PLC systems and equipmentModify and upgrade existing PLC systems to improve functionality and efficiencyCollaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to ensure integration and compatibility of systemsMonitor and maintain PLC systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtimeDocument all PLC system modifications, upgrades, and maintenance activitiesTrain other team members on the use and maintenance of PLC systemsEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in designing, programming, and maintaining PLC systemsProficiency in PLC programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagramIndividual Development (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):Knowledge of industrial automation technologies and processesFamiliarity with electrical and mechanical engineering principlesStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPhysical Requirements:Ability to work in a manufacturing or industrial environmentMust be able to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbsAbility to climb ladders and work at heightsThis is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. The Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) Technician/Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager and work closely with the production team to ensure optimal performance of industrial machinery and equipment.
