The OU maintains a kosher certification service, whose circled U symbol is found on the labels of many kosher commercial and consumer food products.Position Summary:This part-time role provides direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities during program activities, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment.The position requires availability 2–3 weekday evenings (Monday–Thursday, 4:30–7:30 PM) and two Sundays per month (2:00–4:00 PM or 5:00–7:00 PM), totaling approximately 10–15 hours per week.Responsibilities:Working with individuals to facilitate engagement during programsImplementing group activities for participantsCommunicate with supervisor as well as parents & community liaisonFoster positive relationships between individuals served and the communityEnsures the safety of participants during programsEncourages participants to be independent in their daily tasksJob Requirements:A desire to work with adults with disabilitiesAbility to provide positive motivation to othersMust be caring, dedicated, responsible, and patientHS diploma, GED, or equivalentSalary:The salary range for this position is $25 an hour.
