Program Support AssociateTeam: Nutrition/Customer CareReports To: Nutrition/Customer Care Program ManagerHours: 12-15 hours per weekCompensation: $20.00/hourBenefits: Pro-rated paid leaveFLSA Status: Non-ExemptPosition Type: Part time, permanentWork Location: Cle Elum, WAAt HopeSource, we believe every person deserves access to nutritious food. Our program support associate plays a vital role in ensuring our neighbors do not go hungry.Each year, our nutrition program serves more than 500 households in upper Kittitas County. Through food bank services, nutrition education, and referrals for other services we help reduce food insecurity and promote overall well-being of the people we serve.Nutrition program staff are often the first point of contact for clients, helping them navigate the food bank to meet their nutritional needs.

They also listen with care, identify additional areas of need, and link individuals to other HopeSource services or trusted community partners.Responsibilities:Provide direct client services and administrative support for the nutrition programCommunicate with clients, volunteers, and community membersCoordinate client services – including intake, distribution, and referralsPerform general program administrative functions including data entry, reporting, schedule coordination, and file managementPerform day-to-day program operational tasks (e.g., inventory, food distribution)Assist with volunteer coordination and trainingProvide administrative support for general operations of upper county officePerform other duties as assigned including responsibilities with other HopeSource grants/programsQualified Candidate will possess the following skills:High School diploma or GEDAbility to work effectively with staff, clients, and community members while maintaining professional/appropriate boundariesAbility to communicate over the phone, via email and in personAbility to shift from task to task depending on program needs while meeting deadlinesAbility to prioritize work according to organization's current needsAbility to work with low-income and disabled clients in a professional and compassionate mannerAbility to maintain client confidentialityAbility to learn new processes, procedures, and technologyProficiency in Microsoft Suite and various other computer software programsBilingual English/Spanish (preferred)
