Program Specialist 4 Substance Use Disorder ProfessionalNon-Permanent PositionStafford Creek Corrections CenterAberdeen, WashingtonHourly Salary: $37.08-$49.83Monthly Salary: $6,452.00-$8,671.00Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm ) Monday-Friday (Sat/Sun off)The Department of Corrections is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Substance Use Disorder Professional for a non-permanent Program Specialist 4 position at the Stafford Creek Corrections Center located in Aberdeen, WA.The Health Service Substance Recovery Unit (HSSRU) is responsible for the implementation of evidence-based practices and the operational to facilitate individual participation in promising practices/programs designed to decrease recidivism, which increases staff, incarcerated individual and public safety.The Department of Corrections, in collaboration with its criminal justice partners, will contribute to staff and community safety and hold incarcerated individuals accountable by conducting appropriate substance use disorder assessments and treatment to assess the risks and needs of the population and by providing services to address the risks and needs access the continuum in the least restrictive setting needed to ensure protection of staff, incarcerated individuals and the public.This position supports the Department's mission to improve public safety by delivering and leading others in the delivery of nursing services that promote health, foster healing, and support coping and adjusting to various health conditions.
