Program Manager – Small Satellite Missions

A pioneering space tech company is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the development, production, and delivery of small satellite missions . This role will see you at the heart of mission success – coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing client relationships, and ensuring complex satellite projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest technical standard.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead satellite mission projects from concept design through to delivery to the launch provider.
  • Develop detailed project plans, define milestones, and ensure cross‑team alignment across engineering, production, software, and integration.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and timely updates.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks while keeping teams focused on key deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to troubleshoot challenges and optimise performance.
  • Support business development with project estimates, resource forecasting, and risk assessments.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years’ experience managing satellite or aerospace programs, ideally within small satellite missions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Systems, or Software Engineering (or similar).
  • Proven track record overseeing full‑lifecycle aerospace projects.
  • Strong leadership, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and modern methodologies.
  • Technical understanding of satellite systems design, integration, testing, and launch processes.
  • PMP or similar certification preferred.
  • Must be eligible to work on USG projects and obtain necessary clearances.
