The ideal candidate will be comfortable outlining and planning all aspects of work related to transmission and substation capital projects. They will have strong utility experience that enable them to effectively communicate with all relevant teams. This individual should be able to foresee any problems related to the completion of a project and act in a timely manner to mitigate any issues.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of transmission projects and programs across scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, construction, environmental, and regulatory stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage project schedules, risks, issues, and resource allocation across multiple transmission initiatives.
- Support transmission system reliability, capacity expansion, grid modernization, and capital improvement efforts.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams, utilities, regulators, and external partners.
Qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in program management
- Previous utility experience is REQUIRED
- MUST have direct transmission and substation experience
- Strong communication, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
