Program ManagerWe are seeking a high-level Program Manager with deep technical expertise in Apigee X and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture. This is a long-term, mission-critical engagement focused on implementing enterprise-grade API strategies, infrastructure automation, and robust observability. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between high-level program oversight and hands-on technical architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Strategy: Lead the technical design, planning, and integration of Apigee X and GCP infrastructure.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Deploy GCP components using Terraform to ensure environment consistency and reliability.Traffic & Connectivity: Configure and manage Google Cloud Load Balancers, Private Service Connect (PSC), and Secure Web Proxy (SWP).Observability: Utilize Splunk for log analysis and Dynatrace for real-time application performance monitoring and root cause analysis.Operational Excellence: Manage Google Cloud Managed Instance Groups for automated scaling and high availability; collaborate with firewall teams to resolve complex networking issues.Mandatory Technical SkillsApigee X Expertise: Extensive hands-on experience with Apigee X/Hybrid, including Shared Flows, OAuth 2.0, and large-scale policy enforcement.Python Automation: Strong Python development skills specifically for building automation tooling and API lifecycle linting/validation.DevOps & CI/CD: Proficiency in GitHub (GitOps), GitHub Actions, and JFrog Artifactory for artifact management.Cloud Networking: Deep knowledge of cloud-native runtimes, route mapper files, and enterprise secrets management (e.g., HashiCorp Vault).API Standards: Expert knowledge of SwaggerHub and OpenAPI Specifications.Required QualificationsExperience: 10–12 years of professional experience in IT, specifically within API management and cloud architecture.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Certifications: Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect is highly preferred.Soft Skills: Proven ability to collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams across the full API lifecycle (design to production support).
