Program ManagerThis role is to manage, influence, and lead the development direction and optimal performance of business unit program initiatives. It involves applying strategic thinking to connect program work to enterprise and business unit priorities, supporting goal setting by helping draft and align OKRs, KPIs, and short- and long-term objectives. The position requires staying current on emerging technology trends, including AI, to identify opportunities that improve program delivery, decision-making, and business outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesConsult with leadership and business partners to translate strategic priorities into clear program goals, draft and align OKRs, define KPIs, and establish objectives.Apply strategic thinking to assess program opportunities, evaluate tradeoffs, and recommend approaches that support department and enterprise priorities.Stay current on emerging technology trends, including AI and automation, to identify opportunities for improvement.Review program-related data using performance measurements to identify areas for improvement and potential risk.Analyze overall program effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement.Identify, scope, document, coordinate, and implement business solution requirements in accordance with program and project goals.Direct and lead work by developing and coordinating work plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.Manage program budgets, including the risk and impact of changes to program plans.Identify and minimize risks or constraints that would impact program deliverables.Ensure effective initiative management of programs from inception through implementation.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.Experience translating strategic objectives into executable roadmaps, programs, and measurable business outcomes.Significant experience in workflow and program development, including requirements documents, procedures, and implementation plans.Extensive experience in managing multiple initiatives and meeting changing requirements and priorities.Extensive experience in collaborating across organizational boundaries and building partnerships.Significant experience in leading, training, guiding, and mentoring others.Extensive experience working with leadership and management in diverse and complex operational environments.Working knowledge of strategy execution frameworks (OKRs, Balanced Scorecard, Hoshin Planning, or similar methodologies).Working knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, automation technologies, and emerging technology trends.Expert project management skills, including leading project teams and managing timelines.Expert planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Expert skill in identifying and analyzing business requirements and recommending solutions.Expert verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Preferred QualificationsLean Portfolio Management (LPM) certification or experience applying portfolio prioritization and strategic planning practices.Project Management Professional (PMP), or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.Working knowledge of state and Federal laws; industry regulations, principles, and practices; and company policies that govern the business unit's products/services.Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
