Lean Six Sigma Certified Master Black Belt (MBB)Cortina Solutions is seeking a Lean Six Sigma Certified Master Black Belt (MBB) to provide mission-planning and Continuous Organizational Improvement (COI) support to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) J7 Enterprise under the direction of the J7 Program Management Office (PMO) Lead. This position supports strategic acquisition mission planning, enterprise transformation initiatives, and continuous process improvement efforts that directly enable Warfighter readiness.Responsibilities Include:The selected candidate will provide enterprise-level Lean Six Sigma leadership supporting strategic planning, acquisition transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the DLA J7 portfolio.Support development and execution of strategic, programmatic, and operational mission-planning initiativesLead Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) efforts aligned to DLA strategic objectives and acquisition performance roadmapsAssist with deployment of organizational performance, workforce capability, and leadership effectiveness initiativesDevelop performance measures, dashboards, and reporting tools supporting enterprise decision-makingConduct organizational assessments and recommend improvement strategies to senior leadershipLead project planning activities including prioritization, scheduling, risk management, and execution trackingMentor CPI practitioners, sponsors, champions, and senior leaders across the organizationSupport documentation and management of CPI projects within CAPER or equivalent systemsIdentify and support implementation of enterprise-level process improvement opportunitiesProvide status reporting and implementation updates throughout CPI project lifecyclesJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited universityMaster's degree in Leadership or Organizational DevelopmentCertifications:Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from ASQ or military equivalentMinimum 120 hours formal Master Black Belt training in leadership, culture change, and mentoringProfessional Military Education:Advanced PME such as CAS3, CGSC / Intermediate Level Education, or equivalentExperience:Minimum 5 years Master Black Belt experienceMinimum 3 years DoD Master Black Belt experience supporting senior leadersMinimum 2 years Master Black Belt experience supporting DLAExperience leading organizational improvement initiatives in DoD environmentsExperience supporting strategic, programmatic, operational, and tactical mission planningMinimum 5 years experience using CAPER, PowerSteering, or equivalent CPI repository systemsMinimum 3 years experience mentoring CPI practitioners and leadership stakeholdersExperience conducting maturity assessments and certifying Green and Black BeltsPrior CPI experience as a military officer, enlisted NCO, or government civilianClearance / Investigation:IT-III eligibility or active NACI requiredOther:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsLocation: Ft.
