Job TitleThis position is responsible for managing large to complex facility construction projects that have countywide impact and will provide project management support to the Director in the development and oversight of capital projects involving new construction and renovations. Additionally, this position will serve as a Project Manager and/or Construction Owner's Representative.Essential DutiesManages the design and construction of large capital construction and renovation projects as per all applicable standards, codes, and guidelinesAssists in developing project budget and scopeProcures and reviews proposals for design as per project scope and budgetProvides oversight of design process in accordance with project goals and requirementsAssists in the advertisement and procurement of proposals for assigned construction projectsProvides owner oversight of the project budget, project schedule, construction, commissioning, closeout, and warranty phasesPerforms other duties of a similar nature or levelGradeThe grade for this position is 107. Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
