Contractors RoleResponsible for leading successful delivery of IT Service Management (ITSM) projects and initiatives with strong communication experience following the clients standards and best practices.Qualifications (Must Haves)This self-starter must have strong organization skills, ability to communicate and think critically.Strong verbal and written communication skills for variety of audiences including C-Level.Write strong, well organized, impactful communications.Adept at navigating a matrixed environment, influence, inform, and collaborate with all levels of the organization.Skillful in adopting corporate project management standards (which incorporate PMI standards), IT controls, risk and regulatory requirements.Demonstrated ability leading multiple concurrent projects.Generate enthusiasm and foster a positive environment for the team members involved.Project management expertise including working knowledge and application of Agile methodologies.Familiarity working with PPM Tools such as Clarity and other tools including Service Now, Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.Strong attention to detail and ability to write user stories and document processes.Self-starter with an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage ambiguity.PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certificationNice to HavesExperience in a large financial services firm or highly regulated industry a plus.Organizational change management experience a plus.Experience with IT controls and risks.Experience leading application development initiatives.Tasks & ResponsibilitiesActively engage with Infrastructure Services leadership and stakeholders to drive to key project deliverablesOrganize and distill detailed information from many data points into effective communications that can be easily consumed by intended audiencesDevelop project plans, provide executional leadership, and overcome project inertia.Ensure adherence to client project standards, IT controls, risk and regulatory requirements.Provide timely communications on project status and health including scope, schedule, resource, and/or budget as well as articulate key risks/issues and associated impacts.Manage stakeholder expectations and motivate project team.Partner with stakeholders to plan for and manage project resources.Facilitate discussions and working sessions across the various teams involved in the project.Establish and execute against project communication plans.Escalate in a timely manner to the appropriate party(ies) to address decisions needed, the removal of road blocks and other obstacles or constraints.
