Program Manager II (Bilingual (Spanish-English))Based in Puerto Rico, with the availability to travel to project sites within the island.About the JobDuration: 9-month contract with possibility of extensionLocation: PR|San Juan|ISLA GRANDE TERMINAL, PO BOX We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-English) Site Manager / Project Coordinator based in Puerto Rico to support ongoing microgrid projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate site activities, serve as the local point of contact for contractors and stakeholders, and assist in transitioning projects from construction to operation and maintenance (O&M). Candidates with basic technical knowledge of Combined Heat and Power (CHP) systems or distributed energy resources will be prioritized.Key Responsibilities:Project Coordination: Act as the local point of contact between the engineering team, contractors, and client site personnel. Coordinate on-site construction and commissioning activities for microgrid systems. Monitor project schedules, track progress, and assist in resolving site-level issues or delays. Provide regular updates to the project management and technical teams.Site Management: Perform regular site visits and inspections to ensure contractor compliance with project specifications and safety standards. Maintain accurate records, including site logs, equipment deliveries, test results, and daily activity reports. Support coordination of permits, utility interconnection, and local authority approvals when required.O&M Support: Assist in setting up operations and maintenance protocols. Support initial testing, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of equipment post-commissioning. Potential to transition into a permanent O&M support role based on performance and organizational needs.Qualifications:Based in Puerto Rico, with availability to travel to project sites within the island.Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal).Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, electrical, energy, or infrastructure projects.Technical background preferred (electrical, mechanical, or energy systems).

Experience with CHP or distributed generation is a strong plus.Familiarity with electrical drawings, site plans, and energy system components.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and contractors on-site.Comfortable working independently and communicating with a remote engineering team.OSHA 10/30 certification or familiarity with construction safety requirements is desirable.Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with microgrids, solar PV, energy storage, CHP systems, or diesel generators. Understanding of Puerto Rico's permitting process and utility (PREPA / LUMA) interconnection requirements.
