Program Manager I, Experiential Learning, SEMPosition DetailsPosition Title: Program Manager I, Experiential Learning, SEMDivision/College: Vice Provost for Strategic Enrollment ManagementDepartment: Career ServicesLocation: MoscowPosting Context Statement: This position supports the day-to-day operations / coordination of the U of I experiential learning on campus including supporting users as the Administrator within the Experiential Learning Platform Vandal Engage, collaborating with the Experiential Learning Program Manager and Associate Director of Employer Relations and others to realize the U of I Strategic Plan.Position Overview: This position supports the planning and completion of educational, outreach or professional programs; working with program staff, students, the public and/or agencies, to plan and oversee program activities. May lead a distinct area for the program such as outreach, assessment or financial management. Duties may include: Participate in the development and implementation of program deliverables, services and activities; Coordinate a team with an array of talents and responsibilities; Collect, compile and summarize program data for reports; Participate in developing program operating goals, objectives and protocols; Maintain program budgets, monitoring and reviewing transactions for compliance with program requirements; Active participation in the development and submission of program proposals; Lead collection and compilation of program assessment data; May supervise the work of others or lead a team to accomplish assigned goals; Other duties as assignedPosition QualificationsRequired Experience: Two years of program coordination or program management experience; Working in a team environment to accomplish shared goals; Collecting, compiling, summarizing and analyzing data for administrative reportsRequired Education: Bachelor's Degree; four additional years of experience in program coordination (for a total of six years) may substitute for a Bachelor's DegreeRequired Other: NoneAdditional Preferred: Master's degree; Prior work experience in higher education related to experiential learning; Prior experience working in career services industry; Prior experience in software administration; Prior experience in supporting internships, cooperative education program or similar programPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions: NoneDegree Requirement: Listed degree qualification is required at time of hirePosting InformationFLSA Status: Non-ExemptEmployee Category: ClassifiedPay Range: $68,000 or higher DOEType of Appointment: Fiscal YearFTE: 1Full Time/Part Time: Full TimeFunding: This position is contingent upon the continuation of work and/or funding.A visa sponsorship is available for the position listed in this vacancy.
